Our First Opening

We finished our first opening and we would like to thank all the people who visited us and joined our market! We were very anxious how it will turn out, but at the end we had a good time over all. Also, we rasised £45.36 for the Japan Tsunami Earthquake. All the money will go to the Japanese Red Cross. Thank you very very much for all your support!!

Jolly Hobbies Market Opening Tomorrow!

Hurray! The Jolly Hobbies Market is opening tomorrow!

There will be many beautiful arts and hand crafted works and great food/cakes will be sold at the Market. We'll also be raising money for the Japan earthquake disaster that occured this year on March. So, come along with your family and friends and enjoy the day out at Jolly Hobbies Market!

Crouch End ☆RILEY☆

As said before we were advertising our Jolly Hobbies Market to the local shops in East Finchley, Muswell Hill, Highgate and Crouch End,  London. We seen many nice shops around the four areas so time to time I'd like to introduce some of the nice shops that caught our eyes in those areas on this blog.

And today I'll be introducing you to RILEY in Crouch End.

Also One of the shops that kindly let us advertise our market(A BIG Thank you!). Immediately when I saw the entrance, I liked it! The little dog character on the sign above, the nice fresh out look and not to forget because of the tempting ice cream that I saw from  the outside-as a big fan of ice cream myself, that makes it a big thumbs up already! I popped inside the shop, the bright lighting and the simple decor was not too fussy, clean and welcoming to sit and have a cup of tea/coffee. I was in a hurry so I didn't have a chance to look at the menu but I seen doughnuts, cupcakes and pastries offered on the wooden counter.  But apparently the ice creams that were shown near the entrance was telling me it was the main thing that I needed to try!  However, a busy schedule was waiting for me that day, no chance that I had, to try the ice cream this time. Oh well, maybe next time anyway.

The ice creams are freshly made on the premises. The staff there was very friendly and kind. RILEY is a new shop in the area opened in June this year. If you are around Crouch End definitely this is the one special place to stop for an ice cream!

Jolly Hobbies Market to Open Soon!

Hi everyone! Summer holidays are almost over and hope everyone had a good time.

So the opening of our Market is getting closer and closer and we've been running around the area to advertise the Jolly Hobbies Market. Many local shops have been very kind to us to advertise our Market on their shop windows too, and we were also getting great response from many people on the streets!  We will still continue to advertise our Market ourselves, but would be very appreciated if everyone could pass onto friends and family about our Market! It will not only be a great support for us but also a big support for the hand made arts and craft community.

Just for an update, we still have stalls available to hire, so if you do any handcraft work or art, designing etc. and would be interested in hiring a stall, it's not late yet so please contact us ASAP. It will be a great opportunity to showcase your work!
